Early Wishes!!!

Yo, people!!! It's the last day of 2008 and our dedicated dancers are still sweating it out at the studio, but not for long! In a few hours, we'll all be heading to the Tanjung Bungah Beach Hotel for our very own countdown party!!! See you guys there! And by the way, Happy New Year!!!

What's F-A-I-R with an 'un' in front of it?

Does 0% originality equals to 100% creativity? That's a question worth considering. As Malaysians, as dancers, streedancers, to be specific, aren't we supposed to be working together to raise the standard of dancing in our country? And isn't it sad that most of us, mostly the more matured ones, who've been dancers since then 'til now, is promoting the culture of 'copy and paste' in this very crucial stage of growth? This is an alarming call! When a group emerges as champion, it has to be able to represent all the major elements of dancing, two of which is originality and creativity. So what's the point of even stepping on the stage when all you've done is surf on YouTube for someone else's signature dance, copy it and tell everyone else that it's this dance that won you the trophy. Aren't you ashamed of yourself? Listen here. In this world, there can only be ONE Gamblerz Crew. There can only be ONE Kelvin Low. We can learn from them. No doubt about that. But anyone who tries to copy them or any other dance crews is only violating copyright laws and should be put to jail for that.

With that, we from Ultimaxx would also like to congratulate, well, 'Ultimaxx', which comprises of our little kids from the studio, for winning a consolation prize from the I-Dance Campaign. Good job, kids! Good, good job!

Darkness

There was a short circuit in the whole of Tanjung Bungah, Penang just a few days ago and all of us had to learn to live in complete darkness. At least for a few hours it is!

Jinge Jingle!

It's the 24th of December. In just 24 hours, Santa Claus will be making his grand appearance with huge red bags filled with the best presents of the year. Most of us, at this time, would be anticipating for the moment when our year-long wish will finally come true, but not for Ultimaxx! Christmas shows are pouring in from everywhere and we're nothing but busy! So, heat up the dance floor and lets party!!!

Meet Nikita, 8-years-old, from KL, whom I've fell in love with ever since the first time I saw her. She's absolutely adorable!!!

Ultimaxx Workshop 2008

It took us countless hours of planning, days of training, months of sponsor-hunting for us to finally be able to say this "Ultimaxx Workshop 2008 was a bomb!" With professional insructors brought all the way from KL for Ultimaxx's first ever workshop, you can be sure that all of us had loads of fun. Breakdance, Hip-Hop, Locking, Popping, Krumping, House...... You name it! Above all, we had a nerve-racking "Graduation Night" which got everyone steering and cheering with it's mind blowing performances. Spell C-O-O-L!!!
