National Youth Day 2009

It's the National Youth Day and we're right here at the blue entrance of the Sunway Pyramid, looking forward to all the 16 performances by our various local talents such as Twister and Move from Johor Bahru, Famous Strike from Street Nation, the ever-so-famous Elecoldxhot and......us!!! Unfortunately, we could only afford to send two of our dancers there and I guess we loss quite a few points in that aspect. Nevertheless, I believe they've tried their very best so there's really no point in discouraging them any further. So, what does our chief instructor, Maxx, have to say? Well, Here's a piece of his mind : "I personally feel that the standard of this competition is pretty high. Twister owns New Jazz while I could barely differentiate the five members of Elecoldxhot with their totally synchronised moves. Good job!"

Wang Lee Hom's Music-Man World Tour: Malaysia

Lee Hom or Jay Chou? Lee Hom or Jay Chou? Lee Hom or Jay Chou...... Well, it has gotta be Lee Hom this time around! Why? Because he was right here at Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur recently for the Wang Lee Hom's Music-Man World Tour: Malaysia! And guess what? Ultimaxx was there! We are proud to have been given the chance to dance along to Daniel Lee's 因为有爱 for the opening of the concert. And even though the stadium was packed with fans of the huge Taiwanese star, we still managed to steal enough attention from the crowd to end the show with a bang. Here's us, and Daniel.

Ultimaxx Street Dance Competition

The Ultimaxx Street Dance Competition is just around the corner! In less than a month, more than 20 teams made up of our very own students will be battling it out at Dewan Sri Pinang, Penang. The event is jointly organised by Street Cool, an upcoming brand of shoes, and the Penang State Gerakan Youth. It will present the likes of Elecoldxhot and Mustang Crew, which have also been appointed as guest judges of the night. Here are a few shots of the press conference that we had just recently for the event.

Ultimaxx Street Dance Competition

The Ultimaxx Street Dance Competition is just around the corner! In less than a month, more than 20 teams made up of our very own students will be battling it out at Dewan Sri Pinang, Penang. The event is jointly organised bt Street Cool, an upcoming brand of shoes, and the Penang State Youth Movement. The event will present the likes of Elecoldxhot and Mustang Crew, which has also been appointed as guest judges of the night. Here they are, along with the teams involved. There are altogether 22 teams taking part, but, unfortunately, we have yet to collect all of their group pictures. Anyway, here are a few of them, and there'll be more to come since I'll be updating the blog in no time!
