Danell's Night

Danell Lee's concert was a blast! On the 27th of February 2009, which happens to be yesterday, we from Ultimaxx along with a few of our students headed to Bangunan MCA, KL for our second Malaysian idol's concert, shockingly, by LRT. Apparently, we were the VIPs, so we actually got to sit around celebrities, which was kinda fun. Anyway, the medium-sized hall was filled with Danell's over-excited fans, who screamed their lungs out through-out the show. The star of the night, as usual, was nothing but cool. He started of with an upbeat rock song, followed by a string of jazz songs and finally gave in to the fan's 'encore' shouts with Mimpi, his very first hit song. That song itself received a standing ovation from everyone - Danell's family, Danell's friends, Danell's colleagues...... Everyone! Having successfully proven his talent once again, Danell finally gave in to his emotions. He cried! And I'm sure quite a few of his fans did too. Well, good job, Danell. You succeeded in making all of us fall in love with you once again. Take a look at our shots of Danell and some of the scenes in the LRT.

Urban Dance Competition

There was a head-to-head competition for Ultimaxx last Sunday in both Penang and KL! Since I could only be at one place at a time, I chose to be at Cineleisure, Damansara for the Urban Dance Competition! Our group, made up of Bernard, Raye, Charles and Maxx himself, kick off the day with a locking performance as the opening show and later joined the other 20 teams for the competition. The match was tight with the likes of Project Elementz and Twister Genies playing their parts but, still, we got ourselves a fifth place! Which was good considering that we took only a day to practice. Hahaha! Anyways, here are a few shots of what went on during the show! Oh, by the way, our two teams in Penang were the first and second-runner-up for their competition in Penang. Bravo, guys! and please send me your snaps so that I can proudly put it up here!

Photoshoot

Woohooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! We had a photoshoot! I know! Just the sound of it sounds so professional! Hahaha! Special thanks to Uncle Seven, who's official website is 7uncle.com , for staying up until late at night just so that he could snap some really good picture of us. Around 500 photos were taken that night but, right now, I've only got this. Take it as a sneak peak and enjoy this one!

Newbies

We've found our very first group of students for our new studio in KL! Of course, these lucky guys got to get up close and personal with our very own chief instructor, Maxx Saw, and they totally enjoyed the class!

Colours

We almost can't stand the look of our new studio because of it's way too plain colours! So this is what we did to correct the situation. Put your hands together for the two graffiti writers of the day, Charles and Raye!!! Whether they totally nailed it or just ruined the whole atmosphere of the studio, you tell me! Pssst...... I'm so excited to have my name "grafittied" on the wall!

Prepare to celebrate!

After days and hours of hard work, we from Ultimaxx finally got to celebrate! After a huge fight over where to go and what to go, we finally resolved to a nice meal at BBQ Plaza, One Utama. Despite the steaming heat and, well, not so good service, we still managed to enjoy our meal, because that's what we do best? Eat? There's another thing! Look at what we did to our food!

Welcome!

As you know, the renovation for our brand new studio in KL has been up and going, and now, ending!!! Yeah! Ultimaxx Studio is now open for registration! We've went through the excruciating, tiring and time-consuming process, ok, not that bad, = P, of renovating, cleaning and decorating the studio and now, here we are!!! Welcome to Ultimaxx Professional Street Dance Studio, KL!!!

RedBox Reunion

Amidst our busy schedule, we from Ultimaxx still had the opportunity to come together for a RedBox gathering! Although only a little number of us...... Lay your eyes on the contenders, Maxx, Charles and Raye, and what went on inside the box!

A Whole New World

Since Ultimaxx Studio have crossed the horizons by stepping into KL, we have definitely been busy visiting all the different studios in this huge city. Among those that we've put our feet into includes Raydio (Raymond Tan) and Mustang Studio (Mustang Crew). Take a look at the cool drawings on the wall of Mustang Studio!

A New Beginning

Hey, guys! I sure hope you've not forgotten about the opening of our new studio in KL! Yes! The plans are still on and we're already here in KL! Here we are trying our very best to put out the DIY furniture that we bought from IKEA.

Beach Party

It's the Chinese New Year and we've gathered all the staffs of Ultimaxx including some of our dearest family members for our very own beach party!!! We had maximum fun para-sailing, motorboat riding and even had time for some ear......waxing? Cleaning? Watever it is. It sure was fun!!!

Brush! Brush! Brush!

Well, forget about the celebration because our studios need some serious cleaning up! After A year long of stepping and tripping, they sure deserve some brushing up, don't they?

Hello, year of ox!

It's the last day of year 2008 and we at Ultimaxx have decided to celebrate the end of the year with a huge steamboat party! After hours of queuing up and a huge food fight, we finally got to sit down and enjoy our meals peacefully. Phew!
